In the specific areas of a deuterium-tritium fusion device, there are some radioactive substances produced during the operation of the process equipment. To prevent the airborne radioactive substances released into space from spreading to the outside and to facilitate flow from low-contaminated to high-contaminated areas, it is essential to keep a specified negative pressure gradient in the radioactive area. Taking a compact fusion energy device as an example, this paper presents the tritium containment negative pressure ventilation system, its process design requirements and design scheme.
